Prima di tutto mi dispiace molto se questo è difficile da leggere. Le mie scuse.

I'm from Kentucky negli Stati Uniti e di insegnare tromba all'università. E I miei ragazzi saranno invitati ad un festival musicale di Orvieto nel mese di giugno. Ci sono anche alcuni giorni a Venezia, Firenze e Roma.

Sto guardando per suggerimenti sui luoghi in cui portare i bambini che potrebbero essere di interesse per studenti di musica. Forse anche gli insegnanti che potremmo contattare per parlare con loro.

Qualsiasi consiglio sarebbe molto gradito.

First off I'm very sorry if this is difficult to read.  My apologies.

I'm from Kentucky in the United States and teach trumpet at a university.  My students and I will be attending a music festival in Orvieto this June.  We are also going to be spending a few days in Venice, Florence and Rome.

I'm looking for suggestions on places to take the kids that might be of interest to music students.   Maybe even teachers that we could contact to speak to them.

Any advice would be very welcome.

That's so nice you are both bringing your guys here to Italy and you are seeking new teachers to let them learn from different sources.
Assuming you are looking for classical trumpet players here are some names that come to my mind: Andrea Giuffredi (from Milano, 2 hours from Florence, a little bit more from Venice), Fabiano Maniero (near Venice), Andrea Lucchi (Rome, the closest to Orvieto).

Should you need jazz players the top one I can tip you is Fabrizio Bosso, check him on youtube!

Grazie mille per l'info Tony! Questi ragazzi tutti un audio di qualità straordinaria. Credo che il Sig. Lucchi sarebbe una grande persona per cercare di organizzare un incontro. Con tre giorni di Roma spero che sarebbe in grado di noi il suo calendario.

E se avete altri suggerimenti per le attività a Venezia, Firenze o Roma, mi piacerebbe sapere le vostre raccomandazioni. Siamo ansiosi di trascorrere del tempo nel vostro paese!

Thanks so much for the info Tony!  These guys all sound amazing.  I think Mr. Lucchi  would be a great person to try to set up a meeting.  With three days in Rome hopefully he would be able to fit us in his schedule.

And if you have any other suggestions for activities in Venice, Florence or Rome I would love to have your recommendations.  We are really looking forward to spending time in your country!
