Early original Selmer Claude Gordon trumpet for sale, in original case. The horn is in great playing condition, valves and slides work fine. No dents, only two small dings! Lacquer wear as you can see in the pictures.
The Claude Gordon is the ultimate lightweight horn that plays with amazing ease and great slotting in the upper register! Despite its ultralight weight, the tone has a solid core to it and isn't overly bright. Very good intonation on this one as well, as opposed to some of the early Claude Gordons. I have other priorities at this time, but will probably regret parting with this horn...
This has previously been owned by a professional jazz musician, and was among others used on the Warne Marsh record "For the Time Being"!
